Accounting & Finance Operations Associate

About the role

Ascentium is looking for an enthusiastic Accounting & Finance Operations Associate to join its Singapore team. You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including cash flow, month/quarter/year‑end closing, GST and year‑end audit activities.
• Prepare unaudited financial statements and convert them into XBRL format.
• Prepare tax computations for Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and related disclosures.
• Support the Manager in achieving departmental targets and collaborate effectively within the team.
• Attend and facilitate status meetings, client meetings and calls.
• Communicate with internal departments and clients to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent (diploma holders with relevant experience considered).
• Fresh graduates with strong academic results are welcome.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience in related fields.
• Meticulous, analytical and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• IT‑savvy with knowledge of cloud‑based accounting software.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Results‑driven and motivated to achieve excellence.
