Accounts Executive

About the role

Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM), an education provider established in 2001, is hiring an Accounts Executive in Singapore. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and covers tuition billing, payments, installment plans and the collection of unpaid fee balances.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts receivable: run daily operations and month-end closing, reconcile Nets/China Union Pay, PayNow, fund transfers and Ali Pay with collection reports, deposit cash, prepare bank reconciliations and update the student database.
• Accounts payable: run daily operations and month-end closing, prepare payment vouchers, petty cash, agent commissions and staff claims, and prepare purchase requisitions for suppliers.
• General ledger and other duties: handle ad hoc assignments, prepare accounting schedules, support internal and external audits, and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum LCCI (Intermediate/Higher), preferably a diploma or higher in accounting.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; audit experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates with full-set accounts experience are welcome to apply.
• Meticulous, good with figures, mature, independent, self-motivated, able to multi-task, and a good team player.

Required skills

• Preferably knowledge of Sage 300 (Accpac).
• Familiarity with MS Office.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and strong organisational skills.
