Corporate Strategy Intern

About the role

Igloo, a full-stack insurtech firm founded in Singapore, is accepting applications for a corporate strategy internship. The internship lasts 3 months, with possible extension depending on fit, and focuses on defining Igloo's strategic direction in a few mission-critical business lines and markets. The intern works directly with the director of corporate strategy, an ex-MBB consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape the corporate strategy of the company, which charts its growth path over the coming months and years
• Support the identification of organic growth opportunities and the formulation of inorganic growth strategies
• Contribute to resolving the biggest challenges facing the company

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a full-time university degree or about to be enrolled
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field
• Interested in a fast-paced environment and keen to learn about the intersection of startups, fintech and corporate strategy
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build structure around uncertainty
• Able to work independently and find creative solutions to difficult problems
• Available to commit for a minimum of 2 months

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Good communication skills and ability to follow through on tasks
• Ability to perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis and turn it into insight
