Accounts Executive

About the role

Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM), an education provider established in 2001, is looking for an Accounts Executive in Singapore. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and covers tuition billing, payments and installment plans, as well as collection of unpaid fee balances.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts receivable: daily operations and month-end closing, reconciliation of Nets, China Union Pay, PayNow, fund transfers and Alipay with collection reports, depositing cash and preparing bank reconciliations, updating the student database
• Accounts payable: daily operations and month-end closing, payment vouchers, petty cash, agent commissions and staff claims, purchase requisitions for suppliers
• General ledgers and others: ad hoc assignments, accounting schedules, support to internal and external audits, and other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Minimum LCCI (Intermediate/Higher), preferably a diploma or higher in accounting
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; audit experience highly preferred
• Full-set account experience welcome
• Meticulous, good with figures, good interpersonal and communication skills, mature, independent, self-motivated and able to multi-task
• Immediate availability is a big advantage; include availability, current and expected salary in the resume

Required skills

• Knowledge of Sage 300 (Accpac) preferred
• Familiarity with MS Office
