Adjunct Lecturer, MITB

About the role

The position is an adjunct lecturer appointment within the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at Singapore Management University. The role supports the Master of IT in Business (MITB) programme, which offers specialisation tracks in Financial Technology & Analytics, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and seminars for MITB courses.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic activities.
• Engage with industry partners to bring real‑world examples into the classroom.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities within SCIS.

Required profile

• Holds an advanced degree (e.g., PhD or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching or training at the university level.
• Strong academic record and interest in research.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, project‑based learning environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Data Analytics.
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts.
• Familiarity with Digital Transformation trends.
• Insight into Financial Technology and analytics.
