AI Engineer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated AI Engineer Intern to support vendor‑managed AI and Big Data projects. You will work on cutting‑edge generative AI models, assist with workshops, and help translate data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support assessment and implementation of AI, Big Data, NLP, computer‑vision, chatbot and LLM solutions to meet business needs.
• Experiment with state‑of‑the‑art and in‑house generative AI models, evaluate performance and iterate based on findings.
• Collect user feedback to continuously improve AI tool deployment and adoption strategies.
• Assist in delivering data and AI workshops/training for staff.
• Develop and maintain code for data transformation (ETL), normalization, aggregation and visualisation in PowerBI.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Applied AI/ML, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field (undergraduate or graduate).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL or Java.
• Coursework or experience in data analytics and visualisation is preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain) or deep learning is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
