AI Full-Stack Intern

About the role

Join Sage’s AI-first team to help build real AI employees that can own business responsibilities end‑to‑end. As an AI Full‑Stack Intern you will work on product‑level AI applications, from the user interface to backend services and LLM orchestration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI‑powered applications using large language models (LLMs) with features such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, function calling, and multi‑agent orchestration.
• Integrate on‑chain data, DeFi protocols, and digital‑asset business logic into AI agents.
• Design and optimise prompt pipelines, context‑window management, and embedding‑retrieval systems.
• Ensure production‑grade stability, accuracy, and scalability of AI agents.
• Conduct frontier AI and competitor research, track new LLM capabilities, APIs, and emerging AI infrastructure, and drive adoption into products.

Required profile

• Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (any major) with hands‑on experience building and deploying AI applications or automation workflows.
• Heavy AI user (≥10 M tokens/month) and at least 60 hours/month interacting with AI tools.
• Projects that delivered measurable real‑world ROI.
• Open‑source contributions with clear documentation on GitHub.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development fundamentals (API design, data processing, frontend implementation).
• LLM integration, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), function calling, multi‑agent orchestration.
• Web3/Web4 technologies: smart contracts, on‑chain data, DeFi protocols, digital‑asset infrastructure.
• Prompt engineering, context‑window management, embedding and retrieval systems.
