AI Intern - System Office for Asia

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an AI Intern for its System Office for Asia (ASO-AIDA) team in Singapore. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is open to Singaporean and PR students only; it is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional design, process design (scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, development, testing, training and definition of support procedures for AI-related projects, working with other teams.
• Document the solution architecture and lessons learned for each project.
• Evaluate large language models offered by key market players.
• Develop training materials and give technical talks to users.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in AI, data science, computer science or a related field.
• Open to Singaporean and PR students only.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Azure Cloud, MS OpenAI (or other LLMs), AI Search, Form Recognizer, ADLS, Cosmos DB, TypeScript and React.
• Basic understanding of machine learning, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP and AI model evaluation.
