Analyst, Business Development (Retail & Commerce)

About the role

This position leads and manages the end‑to‑end Mastercard relationship with key retail and commerce merchant customers in Singapore. As the primary account manager, you will drive commercial growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver payment strategies that create value for both Mastercard and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support evolution of a wide array of programs across Mastercard business.
• Liaise with global customers to identify opportunities, improve programs, and understand customer needs.
• Support compliance with Mastercard standards and manage risk mitigation for third‑party relationships.
• Use analytic insights and tools for compliance, investigative, and reporting initiatives.
• Perform project‑management duties, create documentation, develop timelines, and manage compliance cases.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Experience with Tableau, Domo, or comparable business intelligence tools.
• Programming or coding ability (a plus).
