Analyst/Associate – Trading & Market Strategies (Asset & Wealth Management)

About the role

Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management is seeking an Analyst/Associate for its Trading and Market Strategies team in Singapore. The team is the central trading desk for GSAM, executing cash equities, listed and OTC derivatives across global asset classes for portfolio managers. Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management oversees more than $3.7 trillion in assets under supervision (as of 3/31/2026) and serves pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors and individual investors.

Key responsibilities

• Execute stocks, ETFs, futures, foreign exchange, NDF and OTC derivatives (options, interest‑rate swaps, total‑return swaps, etc.) on behalf of portfolio managers.
• Collaborate closely with investment teams to develop and optimise implementation strategies.
• Provide market colour to internal constituents across the division.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trade cost analysis to ensure a detailed understanding of trading activity.
• Develop and maintain relationships with counterparties.
• Lead or assist in various engineering or research projects related to trading operations.
