APAC Finance Controller

About the role

Marcolin is looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead its APAC finance function from Singapore. You will manage a small team and be responsible for financial control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting across multiple APAC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close for all APAC entities, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentary for the APAC CFO and Group Finance.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions and inter‑company accounts.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and audit processes for Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong.
• Lead the annual APAC budgeting process and produce rolling forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and business case evaluation.
• Partner with commercial and operations teams to provide financial analysis for pricing, investment decisions and market development.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience managing a small finance team.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and statutory reporting requirements in APAC.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
