Assistant / Deputy Manager, Human Resource (1-Year Contract)

About the role

LTA is looking for a Human Resource professional to join its team in the Learning and Career Development Division of the Human Resource Group. You will help build organisational capabilities by driving competency- and career-related initiatives across LTA, and play a key role in implementing LTA's competency-driven career management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development, review and implementation of competency frameworks, competency-based learning and career development programmes, learning catalogues, career pathways and related change management initiatives.
• Initiate large-scale competency assessments across LTA and use data, analytics and AI-enabled tools to identify and analyse staff developmental needs.
• Collaborate with business units and key stakeholders to continuously improve competency frameworks and design and run initiatives that close competency gaps and strengthen workforce capabilities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in learning, career and competency development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders and present to management.
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and deliver quality results within tight timelines.

Required skills

• Comfortable working with data to derive insights, present recommendations and support decision-making.
• Analytical, problem-solving and project management abilities, able to turn data insights into actionable workforce development recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred: familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Workday) and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI; experience with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
