Assistant Director, Faculty Engagement & Value Propositions

About the role

The Assistant Director, Faculty Engagement & Value Propositions will work within NTU's University Advancement Office to create donor‑centric funding propositions and strengthen the fundraising capabilities of academic units. This senior position partners with faculty leaders to align research and teaching priorities with the interests of prospective philanthropists.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with faculty colleagues to develop new funding propositions for colleges and schools.
• Align faculty funding needs with the giving interests of prospective donors to generate new gift opportunities.
• Support faculties in managing conversations on new gift opportunities with internal stakeholders and external donors.
• Create articulate proposals and donor‑centric collaterals for engagement.
• Assist senior leadership in preparing gift cases and provide administrative support for advancing gift purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in business development or marketing, engaging senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relationship management, editorial writing, presentation and product‑packaging capabilities.
• Ability to translate technical innovations into go‑to‑market messages.
• Experience in higher education or business development is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated to contribute to philanthropy and community building.
• Team‑oriented with a positive “can‑do” attitude and discretion handling confidential information.
• Strong track record of independently managing complex stakeholder engagements and advancing strategic opportunities.
