Assistant Engineer – Semiconductor Lithography Field Service

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to provide field service support for semiconductor lithography equipment in cleanroom environments. You will work directly with customers to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high‑precision systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test lithography equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Provide on‑site and remote troubleshooting support.
• Train clients and end‑users on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and records of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Advise customers on equipment upgrades or replacements when needed.
• Travel frequently to customer locations for service and support.
• Coordinate with internal teams for escalations and improvements.
• Share field feedback to improve product design and service.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant job‑related experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, processes, and practices.
• Familiarity with regulations, codes, and safety practices associated with electrical systems.
• Proficiency with office and engineering/technical computer applications, databases, and systems.
