Assistant Facilitator

About the role

GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is looking for an Assistant Facilitator to provide essential support to its manufacturing operations. The role ensures efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement in the production environment, within GEAESS's MRO business, which handles more than 60% of the group's global repair volume.

Key responsibilities

• Support production teams with daily tasks such as material handling, documentation and equipment setup and preparation
• Carry out routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and tools, escalating complex issues to the right people
• Maintain accurate production records, logs and databases, ensuring data integrity and traceability
• Support adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (e.g. AS9100) and environmental regulations
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying process optimisation and waste reduction opportunities
• Work with engineering, quality assurance and logistics to keep production flowing smoothly
• Help keep the manufacturing workspace clean and organised
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, issuing and tracking materials and components

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or diploma in a relevant field (e.g. manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering) is a plus
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in aviation or aerospace
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well in a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to stand, lift and move materials as needed
