Assistant Kitchen Manager

About the role

The Assistant Kitchen Manager will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and effective staff management. This role reports to the Store Manager and plays a key part in inventory control, scheduling, and cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory lists and manage stock levels.
• Order food ingredients from suppliers.
• Plan weekly staff schedules and conduct training/coaching.
• Prepare maintenance and food loss reports.
• Recruit part‑time candidates and assist with staff evaluations.
• Provide suggestions and feedback to the Store Manager.
• Investigate customer complaints and streamline processes.
• Lead daily store meetings and control food and labour costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in KTV, restaurant service, retail or equivalent.
• At least a Certificate in Food & Beverage service.
• Strong communication, planning and people‑management abilities.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to multitask, work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced F&B environment, including shift work, weekends and public holidays.
