Assistant Manager, FP&A

About the role

The Assistant Manager, FP&A will support regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business performance analysis across GC Asia Group entities in Singapore, Australia and India. The role partners closely with commercial, supply‑chain, finance and management teams to deliver meaningful financial insights and enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, rolling forecasts, scenario analysis and financial projections for regional entities.
• Gather assumptions, validate inputs and prepare budget and forecast submissions.
• Perform budget‑versus‑actual analysis, highlighting key variances, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs such as revenue, gross margin, OPEX, profitability and working‑capital indicators.
• Prepare monthly management reports and performance packs for leadership review.
• Analyse sales, gross margin, OPEX, profitability and business trends across countries, products, customers and segments.
• Provide clear commentary on performance drivers, including volume, pricing, mix, rebates, discounts and cost changes.
• Identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions to support profitability and cost efficiency.
• Partner with sales, marketing, supply‑chain and country finance teams to support commercial decision‑making.
• Deliver pricing, customer‑profitability, product‑profitability and margin‑improvement analyses.
• Present financial implications in a clear, business‑oriented manner during cross‑functional discussions.
• Analyse sales trends and margin drivers by country, product, customer, channel and segment.

Required profile

• Strong financial analysis capabilities with solid accounting knowledge.
• Sound commercial acumen and ability to translate financial and operational data into clear insights.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring and management reporting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
