Assistant Manager – Lounge & Front Office (5‑Star Hotel)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Lounge/Front Office will lead guest service operations for the Executive Club of a luxury 5‑star city‑centre hotel in Singapore. You will ensure operational efficiency, high guest satisfaction, and productive team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate daily staffing levels to meet operational demand while maintaining service quality.
• Plan and coordinate VIP arrivals and departures for seamless experiences.
• Build and sustain strong guest relationships to drive loyalty and repeat visits.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and personally greet VIP guests.
• Develop and review staff rosters to achieve productivity and service goals.
• Oversee all aspects of guest service and satisfaction within the Executive Club.
• Monitor and support the maintenance of the club’s physical facilities.
• Assist guests with check‑in, check‑out and cashiering tasks efficiently.
• Design and manage service delivery systems using data, resources and standards.
• Maintain a visible management presence, coach employees and handle guest feedback.
• Maximise room revenue through up‑selling and optimal rate management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in the service industry.
• Tertiary education with hotel‑related experience.
• Proficiency in English; a second language is a plus.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS and integrated hotel computer systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and openness to new technologies.
• Team‑player with a guest‑focused, service‑oriented attitude.
