Assistant Manager / Manager, Digital Industry Singapore

About the role

This Assistant Manager/Manager role sits within the Digital Industry & Talent Group (DITG), which develops Singapore's digital economy by building an ICT ecosystem for tech companies and nurturing local tech talent. Within DITG, Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) acts as a single interface between the Singapore government and the technology sector, leading the growth of the Infocomm and Media (ICM) industry. You will work alongside officers from EDB, EnterpriseSG and IMDA.

Key responsibilities

• Account development and management: build and manage a portfolio of ICT accounts, from high-growth start-ups to large Singapore-based ICT companies, engaging C-level executives on their growth or transformation plans
• Lead engagements across DISG, government agencies, user organisations and other stakeholders to scope projects, partnerships and pilot deployments
• Leverage EDB, IMDA and EnterpriseSG programmes, schemes, incentives and networks to accelerate each account's growth
• Act as single point of contact for the account and coordinate related programme and project activities
• Contribute to at least one horizontal growth engine (markets, AI, cyber security, quantum, talent, digitalisation, etc.) and co-develop programmes or policies with relevant teams

Required profile

• 4 to 8 years of experience in the ICT industry and/or in account management, business development or management consulting
• Background in Computer/Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology preferred
• Strong interpersonal, networking and stakeholder engagement skills, able to engage senior stakeholders and partner agencies
• Critical thinking, analytical and multi-tasking abilities, with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proactive self-starter who works well in a team and adapts quickly to a fast-changing environment
