Assistant Manager / Manager, Marketing Communications, SMEs Go Digital

About the role

The SMEs Go Digital Division, part of the Enterprise Transformation and Innovation Group in IMDA, helps SMEs adopt digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities. It runs the SMEs Go Digital platform, a one-stop service for SMEs to grow through digital. The Marketing Communications team promotes the platform and digitalisation through daily content and the annual SMEs Go Digital Day event.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain coherent SMEGD messaging and narratives with a steady flow of success stories, trends and engagement content, sourcing SME profiles for platforms and media
• Build content partnerships with media publishers to promote SMEGD initiatives
• Develop and manage the monthly newsletter, monitor click-through rates and maintain the email database
• Oversee content published on the IMDA website and SMEGD platforms, keeping messaging and brand consistent
• Develop marketing messages and plans, amplify content and support the team in marketing and communications
• Execute key outreach events such as the SMEs Go Digital Day exhibition
• Handle administrative processes including procurement of services, budget management and measurement of content effectiveness

Required profile

• Background in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in content creation and/or digital marketing
• Track record of developing content across formats; experience managing third-party agencies, vendors or suppliers
• Good written and spoken communication and presentation skills
• Adaptable, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment; prior B2B marketing experience is an advantage
