About the role

The Manpower Policy and Planning team works with multiple stakeholders to conceptualise, plan and analyse ICT and Media (ICM) manpower trends so that strategies can be developed for the needs of the economy. As a policy officer, you will contribute to policy formulation and the execution of manpower initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Analyse employment data and trends
Research labour market developments
Conduct industry engagements to gather feedback and support companies' manpower needs
Develop manpower policies using a data-driven approach
Collaborate within and across public agencies to formulate policy and ensure smooth execution of manpower initiatives

Required profile

Keen interest in public policy formulation and implementation
2 to 3 years of work experience in public policy or data analytics
Preferred: an understanding of the ICM sector

Required skills

Strong critical thinking, writing and verbal communication skills
Experience with data analytics and visualisation tools
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
