Assistant Manager, Office of SITizen Experience

About the role

The Office of SITizen Experience (OSE) at Singapore Institute of Technology is looking for an Assistant Manager to develop, manage, coordinate and implement a comprehensive student leadership programme, including advising student leadership teams and mentoring students. The role reports directly to the Pillar Lead (Leadership Development) and supports the division's six pillars: Campus Connection, Campus Life, Leadership Development, SITizen Services, Wellness and Alumni.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver leadership development programmes, including design, execution and evaluation, and mentor students in the SITizen Ambassadors programme through coaching and advising.
• Manage and support student-led projects and programmes, reviewing proposals and handling administrative and logistical matters.
• Support pillar and division administration, including budget management, procurement, data consolidation and report preparation.
• Plan and run key initiatives such as SITizen Ambassadors Core Training and the Future Ready Leadership Programme, and support events like Freshmen orientation, the SITizens Appreciation Night and the New Leaders' Briefing.
• Contribute to intra-divisional teamwork and take on ad hoc projects assigned by division leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Experience in leadership training and programme development in higher learning institutions is an added advantage.
• Enjoys working with young people and is willing to work outside office hours and on weekends when needed.
