Assistant / Manager (Performance and Rewards) - 2-Year Contract

About the role

JTC is hiring an Assistant / Manager (Performance and Rewards) for a 2-year contract. The role oversees JTC's performance management and total rewards frameworks so that officers are recognised and rewarded equitably, competitively and in line with organisational goals, while leading annual exercises and evolving the rewards philosophy with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee annual performance management exercises, including appraisal cycles, ranking and promotion exercises, merit increments and salary adjustments.
• Review and develop performance management policies and processes in line with PSD guidelines and JTC's performance philosophy.
• Lead compensation and benefits reviews, including market benchmarking, salary surveys and job evaluation, to keep JTC competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
• Coach line managers and HR Business Partners on conducting effective performance conversations.
• Work with HR Systems and Data teams to use analytics for evidence-based rewards decisions and policy reviews.
• Collaborate with Industrial Relations or Employee Relations specialists on grievances related to performance outcomes.
• Stay up to date with WOG developments in performance management and total rewards and recommend framework improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits or a related HR function.
• Background in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's public sector HR frameworks, PSD guidelines and employment legislation.
