Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager – Alumni Engagement

About the role

Nanyang Technological University's College of Engineering is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager to support the planning and delivery of alumni engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Advancement, the role focuses on strengthening alumni connections through events, communications and programmes that foster lifelong relationships with the College.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver alumni engagement programmes, networking sessions and community‑building activities.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with alumni, volunteers and leaders, serving as a primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with the five Schools, the Office of Alumni Engagement and other university stakeholders to implement alumni activities and events.
• Support the creation and distribution of alumni communications via email, social media and digital platforms, maintaining calendars and campaigns.
• Organise the College’s alumni event portfolio, including reunions, homecomings, networking events and speaker sessions, handling logistics and post‑event follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate alumni records, monitor participation trends, prepare reports and analyse feedback for continuous improvement.
• Assist with procurement, budgeting, payment processing and ensure compliance with university policies for alumni engagement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• 3–5 years of experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, events management, marketing or communications.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities, capable of handling multiple activities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
