Assistant Manager – Student Administration (MSc Psychology)

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Programme Director and Senior Assistant Director in the day‑to‑day operation of the MSc in Psychology programme. The role ensures smooth administration of admissions, finance, student services and programme logistics, contributing to a high‑quality learning experience for up to 400 students each year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, information sessions and outreach activities locally and overseas.
• Manage the full admissions cycle: verify documents, process applications in GCAS, handle appeals and produce statistical reports.
• Perform purchasing, claim processing and budget monitoring in ARIBA; support tuition billing, instructor payments and award disbursements each trimester.
• Handle two role‑based email inboxes, respond to student queries and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain programme records, prepare annual reports, and assist with curriculum change approvals and new course proposals.
• Support practicum logistics, placement of students with partners, and provide IT assistance (e.g., NTULearn, ServiceNow, computer account renewals).

Required profile

• Recognised Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Strong administrative attention to detail and ability to track progress.
• Customer‑service orientation with a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder interaction.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Experience with GCAS for admissions management.
• Proficiency in ARIBA for purchasing and claims.
• Familiarity with NTULearn and ServiceNow for administrative and IT support.
• Basic understanding of SkillsFuture Credits processes.
