Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports one or more Relationship Managers (RM) and Group Heads (GH) in daily operations, administration and client management. The ARM interacts with internal and external stakeholders, provides clients with relevant information and supports the RM in implementing customised solutions. The ARM also channels client feedback to the right departments so that processes can improve quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Client administration: support RMs/GH in client interaction, systems, processes, files and documents; customise client requests such as reports, statistics and mailings; manage the RM/GH calendar, prepare client meetings, organise business trips and handle post-processing of calls and meetings
• Business management: collect and exchange relevant information, conduct regular reviews and document work, support project implementation and propose improvements
• Risk and controls: help manage client documentation risks, ensure adherence to local regulations and internal policies, clear pending items and escalate issues when in doubt
• Regulatory: act as a representative under MAS SFA and/or FAA, and demonstrate honesty, integrity, due care, fair dealing, conflict-of-interest management and compliance with applicable laws
• Documentation: ensure accurate, understandable records of client interactions and orders in tools such as CRM and DiAS
