About the role
This senior nursing leadership position is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department in line with the organisation's strategic plan. The role combines operational management, clinical practice implementation and team mentorship within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Implement and monitor clinical practices, nursing audits and service quality initiatives.
- Oversee the adoption of new technologies to improve patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Manage staffing levels, conduct ward rounds and provide clinical mentorship to nursing staff.
- Participate actively in hospital committees, projects and quality/risk management task forces.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 years of nursing management experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior nurse manager or higher role.
- Post‑graduate qualification in Management or Nursing preferred, with an advanced diploma in any nursing discipline.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated involvement in quality and risk management initiatives.
