Associate Engineer - Lithography Equipment Engineering

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for an Associate Engineer in Lithography equipment engineering. The role supports the running of production in the module by keeping equipment ready and fit for production, and involves hands-on work on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shifts to support production in the module and ensure equipment readiness and fitness for production.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on time.
• Assist engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimise downtime.
• Help implement equipment improvement projects.
• Take part in the Quality Improvement Team programme to raise productivity and output quality, and give feedback to engineers so equipment performance meets module objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, following safety practices and keeping tools, equipment and property secure.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Microelectronics Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in a semiconductor equipment role is preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
