Associate Engineer - Lithography Module Engineering

About the role

GlobalFoundries, a full-service semiconductor foundry, is hiring an Associate Engineer for its Lithography module in Singapore. The role supports 24/7 operations, keeping lithography equipment running and responding to breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Complete production maintenance (PM) work safely and to quality standards, following procedures
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair equipment, supporting 24/7 operations
• Follow up on outstanding issues and liaise with external vendors and tool owners for escalations
• Follow process lot disposition per OCAP and qualification with engineer sponsors
• Enter SPC data for all defined equipment critical parameters
• Support EHS and security requirements

Required profile

• Diploma in electrical, electronic, mechanical or similar engineering
• At least 1 year of working experience
• Practical knowledge of 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environments
• Ability to work day and night on 12-hour rotating shifts
• Accountable, able to multi-task, prioritise and act with a sense of urgency

Required skills

• Preferred: basic troubleshooting and maintenance of lithography or metrology tools (e.g. Nikon scanners, TEL tracks, Hitachi CDSEM, KLA Archer OVL, EVG/SVG litho tools)
• Preferred: basic SPC and PM/CM knowledge, preferably from a wafer fab
• MS Office and computer literacy
