Associate Engineer - Process Engineering

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for an Associate Engineer in Process Engineering to support the running of production in a semiconductor module. The role involves 12-hour shifts and focuses on keeping process integrity in place so that production can run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production and ensure process integrity for machines.
• Assist engineers in qualifying and fine-tuning processes for production.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and minimise the time lots spend on hold.
• Monitor and improve qualified processes using SPC and other statistical tools.
• Coordinate with specialists so that work meets module objectives and SOPs are followed.
• Help implement process improvement projects and take part in QIT programmes to raise productivity and output quality.
• Work with QA on internal audits (QS9000).
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and property in the module.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Good team player.
