Associate Engineer, Process Engineering (Oct Rec Drive 2026)

About the role

GlobalFoundries is recruiting an Associate Engineer for its Process Engineering team in its October recruitment drive of 2026. The role supports the running of production in a module and ensures process integrity for machines, working in 12-hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production and keep machine processes intact.
• Assist engineers in qualifying and fine-tuning processes for production.
• Troubleshoot process issues and reduce the time lots spend on hold.
• Monitor and improve qualified processes using SPC and other statistical tools.
• Coordinate with specialists so work meets module objectives and SOPs are followed.
• Help implement process improvement projects and take part in QIT programs to raise productivity and output quality.
• Work with QA on internal audits (QS9000).
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety practice and safe custody of tools and equipment in the production area.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Good team player.
