Associate, Facilities, Residential Care

About the role

NTUC Health, a provider of senior day care, home care, nursing homes and home personal care services in Singapore, is hiring an Associate, Facilities, Residential Care. The role covers general maintenance of premises and equipment, room preparation, asset handling and basic security and fire safety duties at the nursing homes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct general repair and maintenance of premises and equipment
• Prepare and arrange rooms in the Home for different functions
• Assist in moving assets and labelling them
• Keep key facilities functional and report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the Reporting Officer
• Man the Fire Command Centre, CCTV monitoring system and fire safety alarm system, and attend to security issues such as activating SCDF when required
• Take part in the Home's Fire Safety Committee and help Operations deal with fire haze
• Take safety precautions in the course of work
• Assist in inventory management and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• At least 1 year of related experience
• Good team player
• Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Experience with the SAP system is an added advantage
