Associate – Funds Team (Legal)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate to join the Funds practice in our Singapore office. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers, providing legal support to fund managers and investors across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate fund formation documents, investment agreements and related contracts.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters affecting fund managers.
• Provide ongoing legal support throughout the lifecycle of funds, including corporate and transactional matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda for senior counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Hong Kong, Tokyo and other offices to deliver cross‑border services.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Singapore.
• 1–2 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in funds or corporate law.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical, organised and able to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team.
