Associate Lecturer (Business) - CET

About the role

The School of Business at Republic Polytechnic is recruiting an Associate Lecturer (Business) for its Continuing Education Training (CET) programmes. You will teach adult learners on weekday evenings and weekends, covering business, management, marketing, human resources, accounting, finance, sustainability, digital business, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and related fields.

Key responsibilities

• Teach relevant subjects in CET programmes.
• Design and develop course materials for CET programmes in the listed business disciplines.
• Deliver the planned curriculum to adult learners on scheduled weekday evenings or weekends and take part in assessment activities.
• Act as Programme Coordinator for a CET module when required.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in Business, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Digital Business, Artificial Intelligence, Entrepreneurship or related disciplines.
• At least five years of relevant industry experience in one or more business domains such as marketing, digital transformation, human resources, finance, accounting, business operations, sustainability, entrepreneurship or organisational development.
• Passion for adult learning and the ability to facilitate learning for working professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Prior experience in curriculum development, training delivery, coaching, mentoring, consultancy or industry projects is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners and work with industry partners and stakeholders.
• Sound planning, organisational and classroom facilitation skills, with a practical, learner-centric approach.
• Proficiency in digital learning technologies, productivity tools and online collaboration platforms.
• Advantageous: TAE WSQ certifications such as ACLP, ACTA or DACE.
