Associate Line Support Engineer

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for an Associate Line Support Engineer to join its team in Singapore. The role is onsite and involves supporting scheduled engine shop visits, engine teardowns and the associated documentation and technical follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Attend engine pre-induction meetings for scheduled engine shop visits.
• Draft engine teardown work scopes based on pre-induction assessments.
• Take part in engine teardowns and carry out the dirty inspection review with the operations team.
• Document engine parts conditions and upload the findings to the server.
• Draft and review teardown reports with the Technical Service Engineer (TSE).
• Verify and resolve technical issues with the TSE.
• Assist in engineering-driven improvement projects.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on equipment upgrades and modifications when needed.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul.
• Team player able to work independently and across functions.
• Experience in root cause analysis and technical problem solving.
• Able to interpret and draft technical reports.
• Effective communicator with strong technical writing and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: familiarity with engine MRO repair processes and a track record in continuous improvement projects.
