Senior / Technician (Inspector) - Engine Assembly & Inspection

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Technician (Inspector) to join its QA Training Department in Singapore. The role supports the transformation of training programmes and helps build a modern, digital training framework while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery, equipment and tools to assemble, disassemble and inspect engines, modules, components and accessories.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to keep workflows running efficiently.
• Support Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in reaching production and operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders.
• Take part in EH&S programmes and continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance.

Required profile

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manuals.
• Meticulous, hands-on, proactive and eager to learn.
• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts and to work overtime when required.

Preferred qualifications

• Inspection experience in Engine MRO or the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
