Associate Manufacturing Engineer – Troubleshoot & Assemble (4 positions)

About the role

We are seeking four entry‑level Associate Manufacturing Engineers to lead equipment assembly, troubleshooting and calibration for advanced manufacturing systems. The role involves hands‑on work with vision systems, AOI equipment and related mechanical and electrical components at our Singapore facility.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and assemble complex equipment such as vision systems, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines and tape‑and‑reel units.
• Perform system calibration, module alignment and vision‑system tuning to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose, isolate and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, providing on‑site technical support and travelling when required.
• Conduct kit assembly, functional testing and final certification to meet quality standards.
• Manage inventory, coordinate part procurement and maintain organized stock levels.
• Liaise with external subcontractors to monitor quality and delivery of outsourced technical tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma / Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in setting up and assembling full‑machine equipment (experience in semiconductor equipment is a plus).
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally for support.
• Immediate or short‑notice availability.
• Work location: Bendemeer/Lavender, Singapore – Monday to Friday, 9 am‑6 pm (OT paid).
