Associate Principal Analyst, Data Science

About the role

SingHealth's Automation & Analytics role focuses on designing, developing, deploying and maintaining process automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reliability and scalability. The incumbent works as a hands-on automation developer, building end-to-end automated workflows with tools such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate, while also supporting analytics and performance monitoring through structured, automated data flows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain process automation solutions using UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, VBA and related technologies.
• Analyse existing manual workflows to identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency, consistency and control.
• Build resilient, reusable automation components, scripts and templates in line with organisational standards and governance.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing automation solutions.
• Maintain automation documentation, including process definitions, solution designs, technical specifications and user guides.
• Support automation governance, including project tracking, version control, access management and licence monitoring.
• Maintain central repositories for automation projects, run logs and technical artefacts.
• Generate and analyse performance metrics such as bot utilisation, processing volumes and productivity gains.
• Work with stakeholders to turn operational, reporting and performance needs into sustainable automation and analytics solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on process automation experience.
• Experience in end-to-end workflow development, testing and deployment.
• Able to analyse and interpret automation performance metrics.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in UiPath, Power Automate, VBA or similar tools.
