Associate – Repair & Maintenance Engineering (Spare Parts Management)

As an Associate, Repair & Maintenance Engineering (Spare Parts Management), you will oversee inventory control within the Engineering Department and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations at the manufacturing plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage spare parts inventory using IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Track spares and consumables inventory min/max levels and place orders to support operations.
• Follow up on parts delivery, goods receipt, and invoices.
• Plan and perform scheduled stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels, consumption rates, and inventory trends.
• Track monthly spending in the system.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and practices.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement plans, such as localization of parts and repairs.
• Generate inventory insights and recommend purchasing requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and SMEs to understand spare parts needs.
• Support spare parts identification, cataloging, and inventory optimization.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant inventory control experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
• Experience in a GMP environment and using Maximo is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to work at Tuas South (company transport provided).
