Associate Scientist III - Biosafety Testing

About the role

The Associate Scientist III – Biosafety Testing will join the Molecular Biology and NGS laboratories to support GMP operations. Reporting to the Lab Manager, you will perform biosafety assays, characterize products and ensure seamless workflow in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform biosafety assays, molecular biology, NGS and BLAZAR work according to SOPs.
• Prepare and qualify reagents, monitor stock levels and manage procurement.
• Conduct equipment maintenance, housekeeping and environmental monitoring.
• Validate assays and maintain accurate records meeting GMP standards.
• Maintain and update SOPs, laboratory books and document control systems.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior laboratory personnel.

Required profile

• Experience working in Molecular Biology and NGS laboratories within a GMP setting.
• Strong adherence to SOPs, regulatory compliance and documentation standards.
• Ability to manage multiple studies, meet deadlines and keep LMS training up to date.
• Effective communication and teamwork with scientists, support services and lab staff.
