Associate Valve Treatment Operator

This Associate Valve Treatment Operator role sits within the sewing, assembly, delivery and distribution teams, where attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement turn innovative ideas into reality.

Key responsibilities

• Mix solutions and run the valve treatment process using fixtures, in the right measurement and sequence, then package the finished product and ship it for sterilization
• Escalate machine operation issues and operate equipment using computerized systems such as EGR and semi-auto machines
• Self-inspect work output, make basic corrections to machine set-up and place tools correctly in machines
• Follow established work instructions and SOPs, record traceable information on device history records and enter data into JDE
• Perform incidental revision checks of documentation

Required profile

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of related experience using similar machinery
• Able to read, comprehend and speak English
• Ability to work in a team with colleagues and supervisors, and to give and receive feedback
• Adherence to Edwards environmental health and safety and quality guidelines for medical device manufacturing, and to company rules such as pandemic protocols

Required skills

• Basic computer skills, with working knowledge of JDE and RFSMART
• Ability to use a wide range of manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Strict attention to detail and proven ability to learn new procedures through training
