Associate Vice President, Business & Operations, CET School

About the role

The Associate Vice President (AVP), Business & Operations, CET School is a senior leadership position at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) responsible for the commercial growth, partnerships, sustainability and operational effectiveness of its Continuing Education and Training (CET) business. Reporting to the Deputy President/Dean, the AVP leads business development, employer and industry engagement, marketing and insights, and operations, working alongside the peer leader for Programmes & Research. The role is permanent, under the Corporate Division (SITLEARN), with a start date of 20 July 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the CET School's business development and partnership strategy, build relationships with senior leaders in business, HR, government and industry, and lead strategic accounts and employer partnerships
• Pursue growth in existing and emerging sectors, including stackable pathways, customised workforce solutions and executive/professional education
• Oversee the market-facing growth engine and stay responsive to industry, workforce and learner needs
• Work with employers and agencies on workforce transformation needs, including AI, automation and digital transformation, and contribute to the prioritisation of new CET offerings
• Provide leadership for operations, grants administration, systems and technology, reporting and business processes, including grant and contract governance
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across business development, marketing/insights, operations and grants, and coach managers and key staff
• Ensure compliance with university policies, funding conditions, contracts and reporting requirements, and support audit readiness

Required profile
