Audit Lead – Institutional Banking (Singapore)

About the role

As an Audit Lead at ANZ in Singapore, you will provide independent assurance across Institutional Banking customer value chains and related operations. You will lead lower‑complexity audit engagements and support larger, more complex audits, helping the bank manage risk and deliver customer‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements of lower complexity and contribute to more complex audits within Institutional Banking.
• Support risk identification, audit scoping and testing, focusing on material risks, customer outcomes and control effectiveness.
• Apply internal audit methodology, risk frameworks and professional judgement to produce evidence‑based audit outcomes.
• Engage with business stakeholders throughout the audit process, building effective relationships and managing audit discussions constructively.
• Utilise data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit planning, testing and insights.
• Support the development of audit team members and promote a strong risk and speak‑up culture.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodology, execution, reporting and issue validation.
• Deep understanding of Institutional Banking products, services, operating models and customer value chains.
• Experience assessing risks related to conduct, fraud, compliance, operational resilience and transaction processing.
• Proven track record delivering medium to high‑complexity audits with high‑quality outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate audit findings constructively.
• Practical experience using data and analytics to strengthen audit planning and testing.

Required skills
