About the role

DBS is looking for a Senior Project and Interior Design Specialist to join its Real Estate - Space Planning team in Singapore. The role delivers high-quality interior design solutions across DBS's portfolio of corporate offices, branches and specialised client spaces, from concept through to completion. It is a hands-on design leadership position focused on design excellence, brand standard compliance and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise between users, project managers and vendors on project matters, including presentations and stakeholder coordination
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, covering quality, budget and timeline
• Take part in procurement from tender calls to contract approval, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
• Manage design throughout the project scope, including project setup and construction administration
• Oversee design management, construction design details and feasibility, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Review design documentation for SFOG application and compliance, and monitor team deliverables for accuracy and timeliness
• Manage client, team and project schedules, budgets and documentation coordination with consultants
• Deliver design documents, maintain design standards and guidelines, and oversee the project manual and specifications
• Review drawings, conduct site observations and site reviews, and handle submittals, RFIs and substitutions
• Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, and coordinate bidding
• Maintain productive client relationships

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
• PMP certification
• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience negotiating project scope and fees, managing project finances and ensuring fiscal responsibility
• Full project lifecycle experience, including post-occupancy
• Knowledge of building codes, standards and structures, and of sustainable design principles

• Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM and real-time rendering
• Photoshop, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
• Video editing is an added advantage
