B2B Marketing Specialist (Japanese Market)

About the role

KKBC Australia is looking for a driven, experienced B2B marketer to lead strategic and executional marketing initiatives for the local market, with a focus on the Japanese market. The role suits someone who understands local B2B buyer behaviour and has proven experience building demand generation programmes that deliver measurable results. It covers end-to-end campaign planning, client project management and cross-functional collaboration to drive customer acquisition, lead generation and client success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run short- and long-term B2B marketing strategies for the Japanese market
• Lead customer acquisition, demand generation and lead nurturing campaigns, optimising lead funnels to deliver qualified leads to sales
• Track, measure and analyse KPIs, adjusting campaigns based on performance
• Carry out market research and competitive analysis to guide positioning and messaging
• Act as main point of contact for local clients, manage project timelines, communications, delivery and reporting, and lead proposal creation
• Collaborate with product, sales and content teams, contribute to product improvements and mentor junior team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Master's also acceptable)
• 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, especially in lead/demand generation and customer acquisition
• Proven experience in or with the local market, with cultural insight and professional fluency
• Fluent written and spoken English; bilingual communication is listed as a specialisation
• Own workspace, fast internet and a PC or laptop with sufficient specifications
