Assistant Manager (Engagement) - Healthcare IT Transformation

About the role

NHG is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its engagement workplan for healthcare IT transformation. The role drives stakeholder engagement, manages large-scale clinical informatics events, and sets up a cluster-wide Change Management framework and strategy. It balances operational excellence, growth initiatives and transformation projects while collaborating across institutions, interest groups and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build the Change Management function within NHG, localise cluster-wide strategies and run workshops and Communities of Practice
• Support change management for Epic module implementations (Beaker, Radiant) and other projects, including AI projects, and design interventions to improve adoption
• Design, plan and run major clinical informatics events such as the Singapore Clinical Informatics Summit and Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress, including content, logistics, speakers, budgets and vendors
• Coordinate additional engagements such as participation in HIMSS APAC conferences
• Drive vertical engagement (GHI and institution OCI meetings) and horizontal engagement (clinical interest groups, family groups)
• Manage external partnerships with organisations such as NUS-ISS and SAF, and support the Public Healthcare IT Transformation communication plan

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in Change Management, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement or Project Management
• Demonstrated change management experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical systems implementation
• Healthcare informatics or digital transformation background preferred but not required

Required skills

• Understanding of healthcare IT systems, especially Epic EMR and clinical informatics
• Familiarity with change management frameworks
• Advanced Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Event management platforms and collaboration tools
