Banking & Finance Lawyer (1-4 PQE) – Singapore

About the role

Join an international law firm’s Banking & Finance team in Singapore as an Associate. You will be involved in a variety of financing transactions, ranging from syndicated lending to project and asset finance, working closely with senior partners on complex, cross‑border mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on project finance, corporate lending, acquisition finance and asset finance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate financing agreements and related documentation.
• Support cross‑border financing transactions and address regulatory issues.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical advice on financing structures.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and jurisdictions to ensure seamless client service.
• Liaise with clients, counterparties and regulators to facilitate smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer with 1–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience in banking & finance practice.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities with commercial awareness of global finance markets.
• Familiarity with cross‑border financing and relevant regulatory regimes.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing work.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working effectively within a team.
