Blue Yonder TMS Functional Consultant

About the role

The Blue Yonder TMS Functional Consultant will lead functional analysis, configuration and enhancement of Blue Yonder Transportation Management solutions. The role works closely with business stakeholders, logistics teams, technical teams and offshore delivery groups to translate requirements into scalable TMS functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate transportation, logistics and supply‑chain requirements into functional specifications and configuration settings.
• Configure and support planning, optimization, load building, carrier tendering, routing, freight settlement and exception management processes.
• Collaborate with integration teams on interfaces between Blue Yonder TMS and ERP, WMS, OMS and external logistics systems.
• Participate in functional testing (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, production deployment and post‑production support.
• Provide Tier‑2/Tier‑3 functional support, root‑cause analysis and training for business users.

Required profile

• Hands‑on functional experience with Blue Yonder (or JDA) Transportation Management systems.
• Strong transportation logistics domain knowledge, including planning, load building, carrier management and multimodal transportation.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, create functional specifications and manage deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
