Building Information Modelling (BIM) Advisor (Digital Estates)

About the role

The Building Information Modelling (BIM) Advisor will join the Technical Assurance team supporting the UK Health Security Agency's new laboratory estate in Harlow. The role ensures that BIM models for the state‑of‑the‑art facilities meet specification, legislation and industry standards, delivering value for money and fit‑for‑purpose outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Assurance team, providing clear direction and focus.
• Validate that suppliers deliver BIM models to the correct specification and design.
• Sign off BIM models, challenging non‑compliant elements where necessary.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Analyse complex information and present recommendations to support effective decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in BIM within large‑scale construction or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong technical assurance and quality‑control expertise.
• Ability to lead and manage a workload in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Familiarity with Government Property Profession (GPP) technical specialisms.
