Business Development Executive

About the role

Vertical Institute, Singapore's AI and technology training provider, is seeking a Business Development Executive to engage corporate clients, understand their workforce capability needs, and recommend suitable learning and upskilling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with C‑suite, L&D and HR leaders to assess workforce capability needs and design tailored learning proposals.
• Conduct structured training needs analyses and advise on AI transformation and government‑supported training.
• Build and nurture long‑term client relationships, develop strategic partnerships and drive account growth.
• Own a portfolio of prospective and existing accounts, manage the full sales cycle and maintain the sales pipeline.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets while ensuring a strong client experience.

Required profile

• Experience in telesales, B2B sales, business development, consultative sales or account management.
• Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders including C‑suite and HR leaders.
• Strong consultative selling, communication and commercial acumen.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, goal‑oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
